Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Lumin Properties L.L.C. ("Lumin", "we", "us") collects through luminproperties.com, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We are a real estate brokerage in Dubai, licensed by the Dubai Land Department under ORN 27377, at Al Khabeesi Building, Office M-03-596, Plot 128-246, Deira, Dubai.
What we collect
- What you send us in a form: your name, phone number, email address and message. The List Property form also asks for details of the property (purpose, community, building, type, bedrooms, size and asking price). The "Find your property" guided search records the answers you choose.
- What your browser sends with a form: the page you sent it from, the page that brought you to the site, any campaign tags in the link you followed, your browser's user agent, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, which we use to stop spam and abuse.
- When you contact us directly: calls, emails and WhatsApp messages reach us through those services, whose own privacy policies apply.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange viewings, valuations or calls you ask for.
- To market your property when you ask us to list it, on property portals and with other brokers.
- To keep a record of enquiries and of our dealings with you, as a licensed broker must.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not add you to mailing lists.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run the site and handle enquiries for us: our hosting provider, Google (enquiries are logged in a Google Sheet that only our team can open) and our email delivery provider (for enquiry notifications and your confirmation email).
- Property portals and other brokers, only with the property details you ask us to market.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside the United Arab Emirates. We only use providers that protect it.
Maps on property pages
Property pages show a map from OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, your browser connects to OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive your IP address. The OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy applies to that connection.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them for the purposes above and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Under the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent you gave us. To do so, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request.
Security
We protect personal data with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access for our team. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive documents through the site's forms.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
